A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I'm a British-American poet and essayist living in Miami Beach and soon to be a first-time mother. I have an MFA degree from Florida International University and my most recent chapbook of poems, Little Cauliflower, was published in 2019 by Dancing Girl Press. A Pushcart Prize nominee, and recipient of the 2017 Christopher F. Kelly Award for Poetry, and the 2020 Scotti Merrill Memorial Award in Poetry, I've taught poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction at Florida International University and at Everglades Correctional Facility with the non-profit Exchange for Change. I'm currently an author assistant to Presidential Inaugural Poet and Poet Laureate for Miami-Dade County, Richard Blanco.
